The new project of Sanlorenzo Arts at Art Basel Miami Beach 2021

Sanlorenzo reaffirms its presence at Art Basel, the most significant modern and contemporary art fair on the international scene. A collaboration began in 2018 with the signing of the global partnership agreement for the annual appointments in Hong, Basel and Miami Beach. In 2021 the company reinforces its path aimed to support creativity and contemporary art by launching Sanlorenzo Arts, wich on the occasion of Art Basel Miami Beach 2021 presents a new project with the American artist McArthur Binion.

For Sanlorenzo, Binion conceived the site-specific work "Cobalto", presented inside the Sanlorenzo Lounge, where the choice of Italian ink, which retains its original name Cobalt, is the connection between the artist's practice and the deeper, unknown marine world of Sanlorenzo.
Binion's work combines collage, drawing and painting to create autobiographical abstractions. Using the scale of his own body, he builds compositions from vivid, geometric patterns, chained by a grid. Up close, the painting reveals a substrate of closely juxtaposed and rhythmically arranged copies of personal documents: pages from the artist's address book, his birth certificate and photos of his childhood home in Mississippi

Discover Sanlorenzo Iberia

Sanlorenzo has appointed its fully owned subsidiary, Sanlorenzo Iberia, as exclusive Brand Representative for the markets in Spain, Portugal and Andorra from June 2021. The move has been suggested by the great importance of the Spanish market in general and of the Balearic market in particular, destination of many international clients from across Europe.

Sanlorenzo Iberia opened a new flagship office in the prestigious marina in Puerto Portals, Mallorca.

Carlo Ciriani, as being an historical sales person in Sanlorenzo with an unequalled knowledge and experience in his role, is taking the position of General Manager of the company Sanlorenzo Iberia. In his new challenge he will drive the growth of Sanlorenzo in the area, with the support and help of Andy McDougall and Alan Gulliver in their offices in Puerto Banus, Marbella and Portals Nous.
